You know those days when everything just feels... right? That’s exactly how it felt when Tracy Smith from CBS Sunday Morning came to visit my showroom. Tracy and I clicked instantly—two girls chatting about our love for rugs, just like we’ve been friends forever. It was such a special day, despite the fact that it was HOT in that showroom! We were doing our best not to melt on camera (though, full disclosure, I may have fanned myself a couple of times off-screen!).

We dove deep into the stories behind the rugs—each one a labor of love from our artisans in Afghanistan. Talking about our Fair Trade program and the lives it’s transforming made my heart so full. It’s not every day you get to share that kind of story with 6 million viewers! I’m beyond honored.

And let me tell you, the response was wild—in the best way possible! Within 24 hours, we had hundreds of emails and orders flying in from across the country. People from the East Coast, the Midwest, and all over the West Coast found us—many of them for the very first time. Local folks even stopped by the showroom and said, “We had no idea you were here!” It’s been humbling to see so many new faces and even more humbling to see so many coming back for more.

The best part? Every single order is making a difference. Thanks to all the new love and support, we’ve been able to bring on a new Fair Trade Director and Operations Manager in Afghanistan to make sure our artisans are thriving, and we’re keeping our commitment to quality and sustainability.

So, if you haven’t watched the interview yet, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and take a look. And while you’re at it, why not bring a little piece of this story into your home? Each rug has a story, and I’d love for you to be part of it.

Let’s make your home beautiful—one rug at a time!
