Current Open Positions

Title: Showroom and Client Service Specialists

We are currently seeking dynamic and versatile Showroom and Client Service Specialists to join our team in Vista, California. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in various areas of our business, including:

• Assisting with shipping and fulfilling both online and in-store orders;
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of The Rug Mine’s booths at local, regional, and national trade shows.
• Managing stock and supply of showroom and shipping materials.
• Assisting with managing The Rug Mine's online store;
• Assisting with managing The Rug Mine’s fair trade program in Afghanistan.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma;
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using a MacBook and Microsoft Office;
• Physical ability to lift, move, and carry packages up to 75 lbs;
• Physical ability to bend, squat, and stand for long periods;
• Strong communication and client service skills;
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask;
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, and have the ability to travel around San Diego County for business purposes.
• Must possess a high degree of independence, flexibility, and initiative.

Working Hours:

These are part-time or full-time, non-exempt positions.  Overtime may be required as necessary. You will represent The Rug Mine at both the Vista showroom location and at local exhibitions during the weekdays and on the weekends.  

Salary:

The starting base hourly wage is $18. In addition to your hourly wage, you will be eligible to receive commission from rug sales.
